It has been announced that Beijing StarPoint Technology Co., Ltd. (StarPoint) and Taiwan Sporton International Inc (Sporton) have recently completed the signature for a strategic cooperation agreement. Sporton will equip in his labs with StarPoint’s 5G terminal test system (SP9500) to provide 5G CE/FCC certification services, GCF and PTCRB conformance testing services for its global customers. This is yet another breakthrough for StarPoint in the 5G terminal testing market, and also a welcome recognition from industry for StarPoint’s strong technologies and leading progress in GCF/PTCRB validations.
Sporton is an international testing laboratory and a RTO (Recognized Testing Organization) member of GCF, PTCRB and other mobile terminal certification organizations. It also enjoys the reputation of being the only enterprise that has won the PTCRB Excellence Award for 5 consecutive years. By utilizing StarPoint’s conformance testing solutions for certification testing, Sporton is expected to make a great contribution to the rapid development of the mobile communications market. The SP9500 is a 5G Test System developed by StarPoint that supports 3GPP/GCF/PTCRB defined RF/RRM/Protocol conformance tests as well as operator defined NS-IOT acceptance test. The SP9500 5G Test Platform has registered in the GCF and PTCRB with platform number TP207. It can be used to provide 5G terminals conformance certification with 3GPP requirements, and GCF / PTCRB certification.
